PDK MPs Block Entrance to Government Building

Several lawmakers from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) have gathered outside the Kosovo Government building, where the party announced it would hold a press conference shortly after 07:30.

The MPs are waiting for acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, while the PDK has said it will continue its political actions in response to recent institutional developments.

Among the MPs present is Artan Behrami. He posted a photograph on Facebook from the area outside the Government building and called for the constitutive session of the Kosovo Assembly to be convened today.

“Good morning! Convene the session and constitute the Assembly!” Behrami wrote.

The PDK also confirmed in a Facebook post that its representatives were outside the Government building, announcing that the party’s actions would continue.

“Republic – Constitution! Today we are outside the Government building, alongside the other actions we are taking. We will not stop until constitutional order is restored and the Republic prevails!” the PDK statement said.

At the announced press conference, the party is expected to provide further details about its actions.
