Korçë: 37-year-old arrested after stabbing partner’s son following dispute

A sudden family dispute ended with a teenager being injured last night in the city of Korçë.

According to the official police statement, at around 9:55 p.m., A. S., approximately 18 years old, arrived at hospital with a head injury suspected to have been inflicted with a sharp object.

Preliminary information indicates that the young man was injured during an argument over trivial motives with his stepfather, N. B., 37.

Following the incident, the 37-year-old, suspected of being the perpetrator, quickly fled the scene of the dispute in an attempt to avoid arrest.

The immediate intervention of police services made it possible to locate and apprehend N. B. He was taken to the police station and placed under arrest for further procedural action.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, the investigative team is continuing its work in the field to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the case.
