Koçiu on false alarm at school: Criminal madness, let the law act swiftly

Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu has reacted to the false bomb alarm at a school in Tirana, strongly condemning the incident and describing it as a criminal act.

In a statement on social media, Koçiu stressed that such cases cannot be justified in the name of freedom of expression and called for the perpetrators to face the law.

“A false bomb alarm at a school in Tirana on the first day of classes, when the courtyards are filled with children, is not a bitter joke, nor a cynical test of the State Police’s reflexes, nor the random lapse of an immature mind, but sheer criminal madness.

This kind of madness, often tolerated under the alibi of unfettered ‘freedom,’ has nothing in common with true freedom.

To those who sully protest, who confuse freedom with the anarchy of their empty minds, turning our public space into a field for failed experiments, the law must show them very quickly that Albania is not a theater where they can freely stage their sick dramas.

The rejection of these abnormal behaviors must be the position of society as a whole.”
