It Remains Unclear Whether Abdixhiku Will Be Accompanied at the Meeting with Kurti

The Democratic League of Kosovo has announced that its leader, Lumir Abdixhiku, will accept the invitation from the chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, for a meeting.

Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, a member of the LDK leadership, said that the invitation was received this afternoon, while the meeting is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 18:00.

“Yes, this afternoon we received an invitation from the chairman of VV to hold a meeting and discuss the possibility of cooperation. It has been confirmed that it will be held at 18:00,” Lushaku-Sadriu declared.

She confirmed Abdixhiku’s participation, but said that for the time being it has not been decided whether he will attend alone or together with his team.

Lushaku-Sadriu stressed that the LDK remains unwavering in its position on the necessity of establishing the institutions and is ready to make its contribution in accordance with the capacities at its disposal.

“The LDK, continuing the concern it has expressed over the past two years, has a clear position to contribute to the formation of the institutions, as much as it has the capacity,” she said.
