Ilir Deda: If no solution is found today, the loss will be shared

Ilir Deda has reacted to the latest political developments, saying that the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic Party of Kosovo still have an opportunity to agree on the next steps. According to him, an agreement would make all sides winners, while the lack of one would further reduce the possibility of the Appeal succeeding.

In a reaction published on Facebook, the political affairs analyst warned that failure to reach a solution on the second reading of the Law on Specialist Chambers and on the election of the president would leave the country without a law, without a president, without an acting president, without a joint strategy and with everyone losing.

Deda stressed that such a situation would further weaken the possibility of the Appeal succeeding.

According to him, the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Democratic Party of Kosovo can reach an agreement today on the next steps, so that the outcome benefits everyone. Otherwise, he said, there is no guarantee that the same actors will act differently after the November elections.

Deda also warned of the risk of collective failure and the loss of every opportunity for success in the country, including the main issue: preventing the criminalization of the just war for freedom.
