In the first phase, citizens will be able to have their ID card and driver’s license in electronic form on their mobile phone. The application will also provide access to three electronic services.
Azizi explained that the application will be free and can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. To log in, citizens will use the account they have on the national e-services portal, uslugi.gov.mk.
According to the spokesperson, the project is part of the government’s efforts to modernize public services and make communication between citizens and institutions simpler, faster, and more efficient.
The use of m.Services will be voluntary, while physical documents will remain in use, Azizi emphasized. The application will be an additional and practical way to access personal documents.
The project aims to make digital public services more accessible to citizens and to develop them in line with European standards.
