Venera Azizi: After more than 20 years of waiting, the “Sami Frashëri” high school in Kumanovo will open in 2027

After more than two decades of waiting, students and teachers at the “Sami Frashëri” high school in Kumanovo are expected to have a new, modern and dignified building.

The government has allocated 373 million denars for the project, its spokesperson, Venera Latifi Azizi, announced. According to her, construction has been completed, and final work on the electrical and mechanical installations is now underway.

The school is expected to begin operating in 2027.

Azizi said that since taking office, the government has focused on concrete projects, aiming to ensure that public investment delivers better conditions for citizens.

She described the investment in “Sami Frashëri” as support for education, young people and Kumanovo’s future.

“There may have been those who forgot Kumanovo, but we are once again putting it on the government’s agenda through investment, projects and concrete work. Kumanovo deserves development and the attention of institutions,” spokesperson Azizi said.

According to her, the project is one of the investments aimed at improving educational infrastructure and creating more suitable conditions for students in the country.
