Horror Plan in India: She Drugged Her Husband and Left Him to Be Bitten by Cobras, Woman and Her Lover Arrested

A shocking crime has occurred in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman allegedly orchestrated her husband’s death using a deadly snake, trying to present the incident as an accidental tragedy.

The victim, 32-year-old Atul Kumar Panwar, ran a private daycare in the Meerut district. His lifeless body was discovered on Friday morning inside the home where he lived with his wife and their young son.

Law enforcement discovered that the deceased’s wife had plotted together with the school bus driver, with whom she allegedly had an extramarital intimate relationship.

According to investigators’ reconstruction, Atul was first served milk mixed with sleeping pills. After he fell into a deep sleep, the perpetrators used a krait — one of the most venomous snakes on the Asian continent — to deliver the fatal bite. The aim was to make the death appear as the result of an unexpected reptile incident.

In the early hours of the following morning, the wife informed the neighbors that her husband had died from a snake bite. The reptile was found near the corpse on the bed and was immediately killed by the residents. The bite marks on the limb initially led the case to be treated as accidental.

The investigation took a radical turn after the victim’s father approached the police, expressing his conviction that his daughter-in-law was behind the murder.

During verification, it emerged that the bus driver had started working at the family’s educational institution only three months earlier and had formed a romantic relationship with Panwar’s wife.

Four people were taken into custody: the wife, her alleged lover, and two snake-catching and handling specialists. The latter are accused of providing the venomous reptile and using it as a tool to carry out the murder plan.

The couple had married in 2019 and had just opened a childcare center, where the bus driver was also employed.

The local police supervisor stated that the collection of evidence gathered so far points to a premeditated murder, staged to be disguised as an accidental death from snake venom.
