High-level meeting at KSF: Commander Jashari welcomes British ambassador, force advancement at center of talks

The United Kingdom delegation, led by Ambassador to Kosovo Jonathan Hargreaves, was received on an official visit by the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari.

In his remarks, General Jashari provided an overview of the achievements, missions, and future projects for the KSF, while expressing deep gratitude for the unwavering support that Great Britain has provided throughout the force’s entire developmental journey.

The parties exchanged views on the security climate in the country, the region, and beyond, and agreed to deepen professional cooperation in the areas of education, training, and professional development of leadership cadres and units, with the aim of strengthening operational capabilities and raising professional standards.

Closing the meeting, Ambassador Hargreaves highly praised the leadership of General Jashari in steering the KSF’s developmental reforms, as both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the partnership in the face of common security risks.
