At around 12:30 p.m., a road accident was reported on the Fier-Shegan-Kuçovë national highway. A heavy vehicle, identified as a tractor-trailer, and two cars were involved in the incident, with the cars sustaining extensive damage.

A young woman who was driving one of the cars suffered significant injuries. She was rushed by ambulance to Lushnje Hospital.
Her vehicle crashed into a medium-voltage utility pole, while the other car, an Audi, sustained material damage.
After arriving at the scene, police began working to clarify the circumstances of the accident. At the same time, they are searching for the tractor-trailer, which fled after causing the collision.
