Haziri Ahead of LDK Assembly: Through Dialogue, We Will Determine the Best Path Forward

Ahead of the start of the Assembly proceedings, LDK deputy leader Lutfi Haziri said the high level of interest in the process demonstrates the importance and influence that, in his view, the party continues to have in the country’s political life.

Haziri said that, despite the latest election result, the LDK has launched an internal debate in accordance with the principles of democracy within the party.

He stated that the LDK is part of the political process and that no processes can move forward, nor can anyone’s dreams be fulfilled, without it. According to him, the motion concerns the party leader, and this option has been exercised by the colleagues who organized it.

The LDK deputy leader stressed that the party has respected this procedure and that dialogue will take place during the day to find the best solution so that the request can be addressed. Afterward, he said, attention should shift to the second request, which includes state-building, the establishment of institutions, the functioning of the Republic, and issues related to the future.

Regarding the motion, Haziri clarified that decision-making rests with the Assembly delegates and that the entire process will be conducted in accordance with the party’s Statute.

He added that the LDK leader will make his case before the party’s delegates, while emphasizing that everything is governed by the statutory rules and that the party will abide by them.
