Haxhiu received the credentials of Belgium’s new ambassador

Acting President Albulena Haxhiu today received the credentials of Arnaud Dusaucy, the new ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Kosovo. On this occasion, she welcomed him and wished him success in his diplomatic mission.

Haxhiu emphasized that Kosovo and Belgium have developed excellent relations over the years, based on friendship, partnership and Belgium’s unwavering support for Kosovo. According to her, this support began during the war and continued with the early recognition of independence, as well as through the processes of state-building and Euro-Atlantic integration.

The meeting focused on opportunities to further expand political and economic cooperation, increase exchanges and investments, as well as Kosovo’s European and Euro-Atlantic perspective.

“I believe that during Ambassador Dusaucy’s tenure, we will take relations between the two countries to an even more advanced level and create new areas of cooperation for the benefit of our citizens,” Acting President Haxhiu declared.
