Albulena Haxhiu, Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, today accepted the credentials of Åsa Pehrson, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Kosovo, at an official ceremony.

During a meeting held on the occasion, Haxhiu praised Sweden’s unwavering support for Kosovo over the years and expressed readiness to further expand bilateral cooperation.
“While highly appreciating the continued support that Sweden has provided to Kosovo over the years, I reiterated the Republic of Kosovo’s readiness to further deepen cooperation between our two countries in areas of mutual interest,” Haxhiu stated.
The Acting President wished Ambassador Pehrson every success in carrying out her diplomatic mission in Kosovo. She also expressed confidence that the Swedish diplomat would contribute to further strengthening relations between Kosovo and Sweden.
“I wish her a very pleasant stay in the Republic of Kosovo,” the Acting President concluded.
