Haradinaj meets NATO admiral: Kosovo’s entry into the Alliance would complete regional security

Ramush Haradinaj, former chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, together with Bashkim Ramosaj, mayor of Deçan, held a meeting with Admiral George M. Wikoff, who leads NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command based in Naples.

Haradinaj himself shared details of the meeting via a post on his Facebook platform.

He expressed pleasure that they had the opportunity to receive Admiral Wikoff in Deçan, highlighting the role of Mayor Ramosaj in organizing the visit. During the discussion, Haradinaj stressed deep gratitude for the admiral’s direct contribution and for the unwavering commitment of NATO forces to security and stability in the country.

In his words, freedom represents the most precious achievement that was realized in partnership with allies, with the United States of America and NATO member countries at the forefront. He confirmed that the bond with these partners will always be as steadfast as the unwavering desire to join this alliance.

Haradinaj also addressed the issue of Kosovo’s journey toward the North Atlantic Alliance, emphasizing that the country’s membership without delay would bring the necessary closure for the security of the entire region.
