Guri: LDK will not support the Kurti government

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Paris Guri told the media that his political party would not vote in favor of the Kurti government.

Guri also announced that a meeting of the LDK Parliamentary Group is currently underway.

Speaking about the possibility of meetings between Albin Kurti and Lumir Abdixhiku, he said they could not take place because a session of the Assembly of Kosovo had been scheduled for 14:00.

“There will be no meetings between Kurti and Abdixhiku because the session of the Assembly of Kosovo is scheduled for 14:00. It is impossible for them to be in both places at the same time,” Guri said.

He said he did not know whether a session to vote for the president would also be held during the evening.

According to Guri, notifying MPs only 15 minutes before the start of the session, scheduled for 14:00, was irresponsible and made it difficult for them to attend the Assembly in person.

“I think it is somewhat irresponsible because MPs were notified only 15 minutes before the session, which starts at 14:00, making it impossible for MPs to arrive at the Assembly in person,” Guri said.
