At the request of the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, the Kosovo Government approved the allocation of 275,000 euros to renovate several houses and housing units in the two municipalities.
During the government meeting, Krasniqi said the decision was made following requests submitted by representatives of non-majority communities, as well as on-site assessments.
The assessments showed that several families are living in inadequate conditions and need financial assistance to renovate their homes, the minister said.
According to Krasniqi, the interventions will help create better and more sustainable living conditions for residents who have requested support.
The allocation of these funds is part of measures to improve the living conditions of non-majority communities in the north of the country.
