Gjinovci Reacts to Indictment Against Sheholli: “Serbia Has Infiltrated Deeply, Especially Kosovo’s Media

Analyst Rron Gjinovci has commented on the Prosecutor’s Office’s indictment against Fatmir Sheholli, who is suspected of espionage and blackmail, raising concerns about Serbia’s influence in Kosovo’s media.

In a Facebook post, Gjinovci wrote: “Serbia has infiltrated deeply, especially Kosovo’s media 😀”. His reaction relates to the Prosecutor’s Office’s claims that materials obtained from the BIA were allegedly sent to media outlets for publication.

The indictment states that Sheholli is suspected of acting in accordance with an organized plan. The document also mentions communications concerning when the materials would be published.

“The Prosecutor’s Office said that the investigation had substantiated the well-founded suspicion that the materials obtained by the defendant from the BIA, specifically from Bojan Dimiq, which were also corroborated through special investigative measures, were used by the defendant Sheholli as part of an organized plan and with the aim of exerting pressure on and blackmailing Nenad Rashiq and his officials. He had handed Milaim Zeka materials for publication, while in exchange, the latter allegedly received the sum of 1,000 euros. After the material was handed over, the case file states that Bojan Dimiq contacted the defendant, Fatmir Sheholli, asked whether the material had been published and issued his instructions, while on 01.10.2025, Fatmir Sheholli relayed to Milaim Zeka the task he had received from Bojan Dimiç, instructing that the material be published earlier.”
