The Chair of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, Arian Gashi, today presented to a European Union delegation the progress achieved in reforms of the prosecutorial system, within the framework of the EU Growth Plan. The delegation was led by Valentina Superti, Director for the Western Balkans at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood. On this occasion, he reaffirmed the KPC’s commitment to implementing reforms that strengthen the rule of law and bring the system closer to European standards.

At this meeting, Mr. Gashi emphasized the concrete results of the reforms, including the further development of the Case Management Information System (CMIS), the strengthening of accountability mechanisms and the monitoring of prosecutors’ office performance, as well as progress in the seizure, freezing, and confiscation of assets obtained through criminal offenses.
Chairman Gashi underlined that the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council remains committed to continuing reforms that increase efficiency, transparency, integrity, and institutional accountability, while describing the support of the European Union as essential for strengthening the justice system in the Republic of Kosovo.
