Following tensions in the Assembly, Kurti convenes an online meeting of the acting government and several decisions are approved

Although there were verbal and physical clashes in the Kosovo Assembly during the day, Kurti convened an electronic meeting of the acting government, which adopted a series of decisions.

At this meeting, the acting government of the Republic of Kosovo approved the lease of plots in the Cërnillë Cadastral Zone, in the Municipality of Ferizaj, based on a request from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development. The lease, intended for the extraction and use of limestone, will run until December 18, 2033.

The appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Central Procurement Agency was also approved.

An Admissions Commission for the senior management category was also appointed for the position of Executive Director at the Kosovo Treasury.

The government also approved the appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior category for the position of Executive Director at the Kosovo Standardization Agency.

A decision was also made to appoint the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Chief Inspector at the Market Inspectorate.

The meeting also approved the composition of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Industrial Property Agency.

An identical decision to appoint the Admissions Commission was approved for the position of Executive Director at the Cybersecurity Agency.

The Admissions Commission for the senior management category was also appointed for the position of Executive Director at the Kosovo Environmental Protection Agency.

The acting executive also decided to appoint the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Agency for Innovation and Enterprise Support in the Republic of Kosovo.

The decision to appoint the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Anti-Doping Agency was also approved.

The government also appointed the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Sports Agency.

An Admissions Commission for the senior management category was also appointed for the position of Executive Director at the Youth Development Agency.

Among the decisions was the appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Cultural Heritage Inspectorate.

The appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the State Agency of Kosovo Archives was also approved.

For the same agency, the appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Deputy Director General at the State Agency of Kosovo Archives was approved.

A decision was also made to appoint the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Secretary General at the Ministry of Health.

The government further approved the appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Executive Director at the Ministry of Justice Inspectorate.

The Admissions Commission for the senior management category was also appointed for the position of Executive Director at the Free Legal Aid Agency.

Another decision concerned the appointment of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the position of Director General at the Agency for the Administration of Seized or Confiscated Assets.

At the meeting, approval was given to continue reviewing the request by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation for the expropriation, in the public interest, of the formerly socially owned properties of the “Mladost” Agro-Industrial Complex. The properties are under the management and administration of the Kosovo Privatization Agency and are affected by the implementation of the “Construction of the Economic Zone for Emigrants” project in the Lower Godanc Cadastral Zone, Municipality of Shtime.

The further review of the request for the expropriation, in the public interest, of formerly socially owned immovable properties needed for the project to construct an “Administrative Building” for the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Pristina Cadastral Zone, Municipality of Pristina, was also approved.

The acting government also approved the list of potential members of the Admissions Commission for the senior management category for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its agencies.

The decisions adopted also included the establishment of the National Commission for Refugees.

A total of 100,000.00 euros was allocated for the International Documentary and Short Film Festival “DokuFest.” According to the acting government’s announcement, this financial support is considered a direct investment in the international promotion of the Republic of Kosovo, as the festival brings artists, film industry professionals, media representatives and visitors from various countries each year, while enabling Kosovo’s creativity, culture and identity to be presented to international audiences.

The announcement states that DokuFest’s reputation and international presence help strengthen Kosovo’s image as a country with a dynamic cultural scene, an open society and significant tourism and creative potential, while also contributing to the country’s public and cultural diplomacy.
