Filkov: More than 30 reform laws have been passed to address the long-standing shortcomings of the system

During the discussion on the amendments to the Draft Laws on Judicial Service and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Justice Minister Igor Filkov called on the opposition not to block the judicial reform process with day-to-day calculations and political obstruction.

Filkov said he can accept the insults directed at him, because, according to him, they are a display of political frustration, helplessness, and inner upbringing. However, he stressed that he will not allow fake concern to be presented before the domestic public or the facts to be manipulated.

He also said that he regrets that the debate had been interrupted a day earlier, recalling that a meeting of the working group on changes to the Electoral Code had also been scheduled.

According to Filkov, it is the same working group from which the opposition is absent, with the clear aim of boycotting the reform process. “This, of course, I cannot and must not allow,” Filkov declared./Telegrafi/
