Explosion Involving TNT at 72-Year-Old’s Home in Tufina; Three Brothers Wanted

Three brothers with criminal records have been declared wanted on suspicion of placing and detonating an explosive device at the door of a 72-year-old man’s private home in the Tufina neighborhood. The Tirana Police announced that the incident, which occurred in the early hours of this morning, has been solved and documented as part of the operation codenamed “Motivi.”

The wanted individuals are E. A., 39, A. A., 43, and M. A., 41. They were identified following investigative actions and an examination of the evidence at the scene by officers from Police Station No. 4.

According to the official announcement, at around 12:30 a.m., the three brothers allegedly placed and detonated the explosive device at the door of the home of J. M., 72, for trivial reasons. The explosion caused only minor material damage.

The three suspects are accused of the criminal offense of “Destruction of property with explosives,” committed in cooperation.

Police forces are continuing their search to locate and arrest them, while the procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
