Explosion involving an explosive device in Kamëz, initial details emerge

At around 3:00 a.m. this Saturday, an explosion involving an explosive device was reported in a vehicle in Laknas. According to police information, 41-year-old Y. T. notified the police that he had heard a noise and then discovered that his vehicle, which was parked in the yard of his home, had sustained minor damage to the mirror and door.

Kamëz/ At around 3:00 a.m., citizen Y. T., aged approximately 41, notified the Operations Room that in Laknas, on “Lunxheria” Street, he had heard a noise and then discovered that his vehicle, which was parked in the yard of his home, had sustained minor damage to the mirror and the driver’s door.

Preliminary findings indicate that an as-yet unidentified individual allegedly threw a small amount of an explosive substance at the vehicle, causing minor material damage.

The investigative team, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify and apprehend the perpetrator or perpetrators.
