The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan is investigating the incident in the village of Demiraj, where a 27-year-old man was found dead alongside his three-month-old daughter.
Authorities have not yet officially clarified the motive or circumstances of the incident.

According to reports, the man had stayed at the Institute of Forensic Psychiatry following a drug overdose.
In December last year, he became engaged to the baby’s mother. It is not yet known how their relationship ended or why the child was staying with him.
In April, the court decided to issue a 12-month emergency protection order against the 27-year-old.
