The Violent Crime Unit within the Violent Crime Department of the Skopje Police Department has filed criminal charges under an expedited procedure against S.J. (34), I.J. and S.J., all residents of the village of Bukoviq in the Skopje region. They are suspected of the criminal offense of “violence,” stipulated under Article 386, paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.

According to the Interior Ministry, on August 12, 2026, in the village of Kopanicë in the Skopje region, the first suspect struck 25-year-old H.R. from the village of Arnaqija in the same region with a blunt object. Meanwhile, the other two suspects used blunt objects to damage his vehicle.
Following the measures taken, police officers from the Skopje Police Department arrested S.J. (34), while a pre-trial judge ordered him to be placed under house arrest. The Interior Ministry said efforts were continuing to locate the other two individuals charged./Telegrafi/
