CMC reports: No active fires, 11 of them completely extinguished

According to information from the Crisis Management Center, as of 7:30 this morning 12 fires in open areas have been identified, but none of them pose an active risk. One of the fires is under control, while the other 11 are completely extinguished.

The fire covering the territories of the municipalities of Makedonski Brod and Sopishte has been brought under control by firefighting teams. It concerns the area of the village of Belica in the municipality of Kajorec (M. Brod municipality), which extends to Jasen (Sopishte municipality), where low and mixed forest burns.

The CMC announces that the 11 extinguished fires were registered at these locations: in the Municipality of Tearca, village of Nerasht – garbage; in the Municipality of Shën Nikollë, village of Erxheli – low vegetation and garbage; in the Municipality of Veles, villages of Rashtani and Beleshtevicë – low vegetation; in the Municipality of Karposh, the Vardar pier – garbage; in the Municipality of Saraj, village of Lower Svilare – low vegetation and mixed forest; in the Municipality of Gazi Baba, village of Trubarevë – low vegetation and garbage; in the Municipality of Dollnen, village of Desovë – low vegetation; in the Municipality of Manastir, near the “Ekonomia” prison – low vegetation; in the Municipality of Kumanovë, village of Agino Selo – low vegetation; in the Municipality of Ilinden, villages of Deljadrovci and Mrshevci – low vegetation; and in the Municipality of Gazi Baba, village of Stajkovci – low vegetation, as stated in the CMC announcement.
