Flora Brovina has passed away at the age of 76, while the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Bedri Hamza, has expressed his condolences over her loss.

According to Hamza, Kosovo has lost a strong woman, mother, doctor, intellectual and activist who devoted her entire life to her country and its citizens.
“Flora never bowed before difficulties. She stood with dignity, courage and dedication until the end of her life,” Hamza wrote.
He said that Brovina would always be remembered as a symbol of resilience and love for her homeland.
“Words are not enough to express the magnitude of her loss. Rest in peace, Flora!” he said.
On his own behalf and that of the PDK, Hamza conveyed his condolences to the family, friends and everyone who knew Flora Brovina.
“Eternal respect and gratitude for Flora Brovina!” Hamza concluded.
