The Begu and Brovina families announce the death of Flora Brovina

Through her son, Uranik Begu, the Begu and Brovina families have announced the death of Dr. Flora Brovina, known as a doctor, poet, humanitarian and former member of the Assembly of Kosovo.

In a joint announcement addressed to relatives, friends, colleagues and all those who knew her, the family expressed its grief over the loss of its beloved.

The family members praised Brovina’s contribution to medicine, literature, humanitarian work and the protection of human rights. The announcement also recalled that she was a former political prisoner, a veteran of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a member of parliament and a signatory of the Declaration of Independence.

According to the family, Flora Brovina devoted her life to her love for her family, people and homeland. In her profession as a doctor, she served others with dedication and compassion, while through her poetry she left behind her spiritual and creative world.

Through her work, resilience and humanitarian commitment, she is considered to have left a lasting mark on the history of Kosovo and Albanians.

The family members emphasize that beyond her public role and activities, Brovina was a beloved mother and grandmother, a sister and the center of the family.
