Three teenagers were injured this evening in the “Banesa” neighborhood of Elbasan after a confrontation escalated into gunfire.

Preliminary information indicates that the young people were initially involved in a dispute, which later descended into shooting. The three injured teenagers were rushed to Elbasan Regional Hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment.
After being alerted to the incident, numerous Elbasan Police officers arrived at the scene, sealed off the area and began working to fully establish the circumstances.
The motives behind the conflict remain unknown, while the authorities are working to identify and apprehend those involved.
An official police statement is expected to provide further details about the incident, the identities of those injured and their state of health.
