For Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, the arrest of Ergys Agasi was negotiated. At a press conference with journalists, the opposition leader “unpacked” several elements which, according to him, point to an arrest carried out through negotiations.

Referring to the digital citizen, Sali Berisha said that on Sunday, Ergys Agasi held a lengthy meeting with Taulant Balla, claiming that he may also have been the negotiator.

According to Berisha, another element is the fact that Agasi was arrested in an ordinary car, even though he owns many luxury and armored vehicles.

“Agasi appeared to be wanted, but de facto he was free, moving everywhere with escorts. Then we come to the moment of his arrest, near his home, wearing shorts and slippers, with a police officer at the wheel. All of this says more than anything else about a negotiated arrest.
