Ademi: Procedure launched in Constitutional Court to remove ethnic quotas from the Academy for Judges and Prosecutors

The secretary-general of the Democratic Union for Integration, Arbër Ademi, said that a procedure has been set in motion to eliminate ethnic quotas at the Academy for Judges and Prosecutors, stressing that, in his view, the government is bothered by fair and adequate representation.

He also said that “the Constitutional Court has decided to destabilize the state with unconstitutional decisions.”

“At the Constitutional Court, the case to remove ethnic quotas from the academy for judges and prosecutors is now also under way. So fair and adequate representation in the academy for judges and prosecutors bothers this government, and they have found the para-political institution that does not care about the constitution, does not care about the law, or what decisions should be made,” Ademi said.
