Abdixhiku voices concerns over Haxhiu and Buzhala’s contacts with LDK representatives

Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has expressed concern over meetings held by Baton Haxhiu and Berat Buzhala with members of the party’s parliamentary group, particularly before their official sessions.

During an interview on Kanal 10, while commenting on internal friction over the selection of the presidential candidate, Abdixhiku suggested that the positions of some lawmakers may have originated from external influences.

The LDK leader did not provide specific details about the identities of the deputies involved, the exact timing of the meetings or the subjects discussed, but stressed that he was fully certain of the truth of his claims.

According to him, any attempt to draw the LDK into a unified opposition front would be harmful to the party and would serve to strengthen the Vetëvendosje Movement. He added that the LDK’s electorate would not tolerate their political entity becoming dependent on such an alliance.

Abdixhiku called on the party’s deputies to base their political direction on the voice of the grassroots and the people, rather than on individuals who, in his assessment, do not represent the LDK’s genuine interests.
