Abdixhiku criticizes PDK over request concerning the Specialist Chambers law: What will you do with the mud you threw at LDK?

LDK Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has reacted to the request by the PDK parliamentary group addressed to President Justina Shiroka-Pula to return to the Assembly and reconsider the Law on Amending and Supplementing the Law on the Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.

Abdixhiku raised the question of what would happen to the accusations and attacks that, according to him, were directed at LDK following its position on the law.

“The law has been returned, but what will you do with the mud you threw at LDK? Where will you leave it?

You insulted us and called us traitors. You went so far as to portray LDK as an opponent of the KLA, while placing our names alongside those of the Serb List, simply because we expressed a truth you did not want to hear. This law has not had and will not have any legal consequences.

LDK did not give up its position, even though it knew it would face attacks. Our responsibility toward the Republic requires us to say what we consider right, even when it is easier to follow the general noise.

We tell our supporters to always remain proud. We may be attacked from every direction, but LDK’s positions have stood the test of history and will do so again. They are not shaped by the emotions of the moment, but by our convictions about the Republic. For this, only time is needed.

The KLA’s war is sacred. It is defended through work and reason, not in this way,” Abdixhiku wrote on Facebook.
