Abdixhiku Calls for Institutions to Become Functional Quickly in Meeting with Haddad

Lumir Abdixhiku, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, met with France’s Minister Delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad.

According to an LDK statement, the two discussed the political situation in Kosovo, the path toward European integration and bilateral relations between Kosovo and France. The meeting also highlighted the importance of strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

Abdixhiku emphasized the need for the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to become functional as soon as possible. He said institutional stability is crucial for advancing reforms, fostering economic growth and moving the country’s Euro-Atlantic agenda forward.

The LDK leader thanked France for its continued support for Kosovo, praising its contribution to supporting democratic processes, the country’s European perspective and the expansion of cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, the statement concluded.
