71st citizens’ protest ends with a clear message to the government: “More tomorrow,” Rama’s departure demanded

With the slogan “more tomorrow,” the curtain has fallen on the 71st protest by the civic movement. Participants are not backing down from their essential demand: the irrevocable resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

As the latest march against the executive and the head of government moved forward, the crowd of citizens made a symbolic stop in front of the Tirana Local Police Directorate.

The call “Arrest Rama!” echoed among the protesters, who appealed to the justice system to launch investigations and hold the prime minister and other officials responsible for the burden of corruption and failed administration.

Initially conceived as a response to the project for the tourist resort in Zvërnec, the movement has evolved and now includes a broad platform of political demands.
