More than a year on her own, without a partner by her side, has led Monika Kryemadhi to realize that being “single” is better than having someone breathing down her neck. At least, that is what the former MP—and former wife of Ilir Meta, leader of the Party of Freedom—has said herself.

In a recent interview, Kryemadhi said she is very happy that she is now at peace, as she devotes herself entirely to herself.
With complete sincerity and a touch of humor, when asked whether she would like to have a partner in the future, Monika replied firmly: “No, no, no… I’m not going to sit around washing other people’s underwear.”
It is worth recalling that on April 11, 2025, the 27-year marriage between Ilir Meta, leader of the Party of Freedom, and MP Monika Kryemadhi officially came to an end.
Excerpts from the interview given to “Pushime On Top”:
Lei Kraja: Do you see yourself with a partner?
Monika Kryemadhi: No, no, no… I’m not going to sit around washing other people’s underwear.
Lei Kraja: You can’t imagine it anymore? Was one marriage enough?
Monika Kryemadhi: Not at all, not at all. I’m very well, I mean. I wake up at peace, and I devote myself to myself.
