A forested area in the place known as “Lëndina e Madhe,” above the village of Sinicë in Devoll, was engulfed by fire on Tuesday afternoon.

After the Devoll Municipality fire service received an alert, 11 firefighters and 3 forestry service employees were dispatched to the area.
The teams deployed on the ground are continuing their efforts to contain and extinguish the blaze.
The area affected by the flames has not yet been determined, while the cause of the fire also remains unknown. Fire services are monitoring the situation and working to prevent the flames from spreading further through the forest.
