The Kosovo Police Inspectorate has recommended the suspension of two police officers who are suspected of being involved in a fight with each other inside the South Police Station in Pristina.
According to the IPK, the initial investigative actions carried out by this institution have raised suspicions that last night, two police officers, while performing their official duties in the premises of the South Police Station, were involved in a dispute with one another and are suspected of the criminal offense “Assault”.

For this case, the IPK has proposed to the Kosovo Police the suspension of the two police officers who are being investigated as suspects.
“Any action by police officers that may undermine police integrity or may negatively affect the professionalism of the Kosovo Police will be treated with full seriousness by the Kosovo Police Inspectorate,” the IPK said in its response.
“The IPK investigators are in constant coordination with the Basic Prosecution in Pristina, while the case will be handled through regular procedure,” the IPK concludes.
