Three buildings were demolished this Thursday in Vlora as part of the continuation of the project linked to the Transbalkan Road, the Port, and the extension of Lungomare 4. The National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IMT) carried out the intervention to demolish these buildings, which had been expropriated back in 2018 and were considered uninhabitable.
According to the authorities, they had also caused concern for residents, as they were being used by people consuming narcotic substances.

The Mayor of Vlora, Brunilda Mersini, underlined the importance of this action for the progress of the project. She announced that work is also simultaneously underway on the high-water drainage canal, where problems continue to remain with several buildings that are in the process of legalization.
