Ziadin Sela criticizes developments in Kosovo and the reaction of the political class

The head of the Albanian League, Ziadin Sela, has reacted to the political situation in Kosovo. Through a post on social media, he described the Special Court’s decision for the former leaders of the KLA as shameful.

Sela recalled that, during efforts to explain the political developments in North Macedonia and the way of overcoming the political deadlock, he had said that Albanian political factors should start from rejecting the mechanism through which the Macedonian political class uses the Albanian deputy. According to him, the people’s representatives are thus turned into instruments against the interests of the citizens.

He emphasizes that this mechanism is related only to seduction through power, while the solution, according to him, is liberation from dependence on power and a return to the needs of the demos as an entity.

Sela states that this phenomenon has affected the entire Albanian society, not only in North Macedonia and Albania, but also in Kosovo, which, according to him, these days constitutes a great disappointment.

“The announcement of the Special Court for the KLA leaders is truly shameful. But the shame of the calculations for power by the political class in Kosovo, without any exception, at a moment when unity is needed more than ever, far exceeds this shame,” Sela wrote.
