Democratic League of Kosovo MP Armend Zemaj said he would not vote for the Vetëvendosje Movement’s candidate for the post of speaker of the Assembly.

Speaking before entering the Assembly, ahead of the continuation of the constitutive session, Zemaj announced that Kujtim Shala would remain LDK’s candidate for deputy speaker.
“Kujtim Shala will once again be our candidate, as there has been no change,” he said.
Zemaj stressed that LDK would not vote for the election of the speaker of the Assembly from the ranks of the Vetëvendosje Movement, adding that any MP who may have changed their personal position would act according to their own wishes.
