The wave of attacks came a day after numerous Russian strikes against Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding regions. Ukrainian authorities reported that two people were killed and 10 others injured on August 18.
That same day, Russian forces carried out hundreds of drone attacks, including attacks with FPV drones, and also used artillery and missile systems.
According to Ukrainian authorities, the attacks resulted in 192 cases of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.
Emergency services were deployed at the sites hit, while the authorities continue to assess the damage and consequences of the attacks.
