“You’re doing it with our money, don’t pretend”/Rama responds to commenters: Some governments do good work, others do bad work

Prime Minister Edi Rama responded to citizens’ criticism over the use of public funds during the presentation of the programme to support and expand small and medium-sized businesses.

Rama also said that every government manages citizens’ money, but the difference lies in how it is used and the results it delivers.

“Another element is that a series of meetings across the country has also been planned to encourage businesses to take part in this programme. The Ministry of Finance has been key. Everyone does their duty, but the issue is who does it better and who does it worse. They tell us: ‘Why are you pretending about what you are doing, when you are doing it with our money?’ Well, there are governments that do good work with our money, there are governments that do no work at all, or do bad work. I would also like to thank the ministers and the governor for this project,” Rama said.
