Why Did You Touch Me? Fight Between Teenagers Leaves Three Injured

An accidental touch on the shoulder is suspected to have triggered a clash between two groups of young people in Durrës, which ended with three people suffering knife wounds.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening in neighborhood no. 13, where the two groups of teenagers were walking along the street. According to sources, it all began after one of the young people accidentally touched a member of the other group on the shoulder.

The latter responded with the words, “Why did you touch me?”, initially leading to a verbal argument, which then escalated into a physical fight and the use of knives.

As a result of the conflict, three young people, aged 18, 19 and 20, were injured. They were taken to Durrës Regional Hospital, where, according to medical sources, two of them continue to receive treatment in the intensive care unit, while the 19-year-old has left the hospital.

Police have identified a 19-year-old and a 15-year-old as the suspected perpetrators of the stabbing, and both have been declared wanted. Investigators are also working to identify another person suspected of having taken part in the conflict.

Meanwhile, the investigative team is continuing its work to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and apprehend those involved.
