Who throws stones at the police? Blendi Fevziu identifies the violent youths: Father abroad, mother at work from early morning

Blendi Fevziu has analyzed the family and social circumstances of the children involved in clashes during the protests, focusing on the conditions in which, he said, some of them grew up.

During the program “Opinion,” the journalist said that children seen throwing stones often share a similar family background: fathers who have moved abroad and mothers who leave for work in the early hours of the morning to make ends meet.

According to him, these minors have mostly grown up among themselves, without always having their parents’ consistent presence and care. He linked this reality to the economic and social hardships faced by certain families. “The children who throw stones are almost all of the same type. The father has gone abroad. They don’t see their mother because she leaves for work at the crack of dawn,” Fevziu said.

He went on to stress that these are children who have been forced to face life’s difficulties at an early age, without the opportunities their peers may have for care and extracurricular activities.

“They are children who have grown up among themselves, without the kind of parenting where someone looks after you and takes you to classes. They are people who have to make their own way in life and have no other option,” the journalist said.
