Wanted Suspect Arrested in Berat After Attempting to Kill a Man in Durrës

A joint operation by the Crime Investigation Section and the Special Operational Force of the Berat Local Police Directorate has led to the arrest of a 35-year-old man from Durrës.

He had been declared wanted for attempted premeditated murder. The arrested man, identified by the initials B. Ç., was located and apprehended inside a bar in the city of Berat following information obtained through operational channels.

A man wanted for attempted murder has been apprehended in Berat.

As part of ongoing efforts to apprehend wanted individuals, specialists from the Crime Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force of the Berat Local Police Directorate, acted on information regarding the whereabouts of a wanted man and located him at a bar in the city of Berat, where they arrested:

B. Ç., 35, a resident of Durrës.

The Durrës Court had ordered him to be held in pretrial detention for the criminal offense of attempted “Premeditated murder,” committed in collaboration.

He is suspected of firing a gun at F. K. on December 15, 2025, in collaboration with two other individuals, while the victim was inside a bar in neighborhood No. 9 in Durrës. As a result, F. K. sustained minor injuries.

The 35-year-old was handed over to the Durrës Local Police Directorate for further procedural action.
