Fires in Dibër continue to pose a risk, particularly in the highlands near the village of Sllatinë, where a dense area of pine and juniper trees has been engulfed by flames.
Strong winds and high temperatures are favoring the spread of the fire, significantly hampering efforts to extinguish it. Dozens of personnel have been deployed on the ground and are working to contain the fire hotspots.

The operation is being carried out by firefighters from the Municipality of Dibër, with support from local residents who are contributing voluntarily.
The situation is also problematic at Qafë Helmes, near Selishtë, as well as in Vajkal, Bulqizë.
For the past two days, a helicopter has been operating in Vajkal to prevent the fire from spreading and protect homes from the risk of the flames.
