Ylli Zalla, 49, one of the most wanted people sought by police, has been arrested following an operation conducted by police and RENEA special forces in the Fushë-Krujë area.
According to information from journalist Xhensila Kodra, Zalla had been hiding in another house near his home in the village of Zallë, Fushë-Krujë. At the time of his arrest, he was armed with a Kalashnikov rifle and ammunition.

Meanwhile, the interior minister has also released footage of his arrest.
His arrest follows several operations conducted in recent months to locate and capture him.
Ylli Zalla had been wanted since November 2025, following the discovery of an arsenal of weapons at premises linked to him during investigations carried out after the Rinas assassination, in which Gilmando Dani and Muçi Shaljani were killed.
In the following months, the authorities conducted several searches and operations to capture him. During one of them, police found another arsenal of weapons, while Zalla managed to evade law enforcement.
During the June operation, ammunition and other equipment were also found at his home, while a 55-year-old man was arrested.
