Video/ 27-year-old woman jumps from 15th floor and lands on a child’s stroller

A tragic incident occurred in Astana, Kazakhstan, where a 27-year-old woman took her own life by jumping from the 15th floor of an apartment building.

During the fall, she landed on a stroller carrying a two-year-old child. The impact proved fatal for the child, who died at the scene.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and the reasons that drove the 27-year-old woman to take this action.

Official data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations show that cases of children falling from heights remain a growing concern.

Between January and May of last year alone, 60 cases of children falling from windows were recorded.

Five children died in these incidents, while the other 55 were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities reported 196 such incidents throughout 2024.
