US Embassy in Kosovo to hold reception for the 250th anniversary of American Independence

Anu Prattipati, the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America in Kosovo, will host a reception as part of the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of US Independence.

The reception comes as part of the activities planned to mark the 250th anniversary of the declaration of independence of the United States of America.

Meanwhile, a few days earlier, ahead of this anniversary marking 250 years since the birth of the American state, the US Embassy in Prishtina placed a large American flag in one of the areas of its building.

This action was carried out as part of the symbolic activities leading up to the celebration of this important jubilee for the American state.

Other events are also expected to take place in Prishtina to mark this date.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Perparim Rama, has announced that on July 2, under the patronage of the Capital, the event “America and Kosova – A Freedom Story for the Next 250 Years” will be held.

In a Facebook post, Rama stressed that the event is being organized in honor of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America and aims to highlight the special partnership between the US and Kosovo.

According to Rama, the event will take place on July 2 at Emerald in Prishtina, starting at 10:00, and will be dedicated to the history of freedom and friendship between the two countries, as well as to the cooperation that, according to him, continues to inspire and build the future.
