Two young men wanted for narcotic plant cultivation arrested in Shkodër

Two persons declared wanted for indoor cultivation of narcotic plants were arrested by the Shkodër Police. The citizens A. B., 28 years old, resident in Shkodër, and S. B., 25 years old, resident in the village of Zagorë, were taken into custody.

Both young men are accused of the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics,” “Cultivation of narcotic plants,” and “Theft of electricity or telephone impulses.”

Investigations suspect that, in collaboration with other persons, in January 2026, during the coded police operation “Neonët 5,” they had adapted two residential premises in the village of Barbullush

Shkodër/Controls continue to apprehend citizens declared wanted

Two citizens declared wanted for criminal activity in the field of indoor cultivation of narcotic plants were captured and taken into custody.

As a result of continuous controls for locating and capturing citizens declared wanted, and based on information obtained through operational channels, the Narcotics Investigation specialists of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate located, captured, and detained the citizens:

A. B., 28 years old, resident in Shkodër;

S. B., 25 years old, resident in the village of Zagorë.

These citizens had been declared wanted after the Prosecutor’s Office at the Shkodër Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction issued an order for their detention, as suspects for committing the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics,” “Cultivation of narcotic plants,” and “Theft of electricity or telephone impulses.”

These two citizens are suspected that, in collaboration with other citizens, in January 2026, within the coded police operation “Neonët 5,” they had adapted two premises (residences) in the village of Barbullush for the cultivation of narcotic plants using lamps.

The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Shkodër Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction for further actions.
